Garrett Nafzinger
Founder
I spent 16 years at the American Academy of Family Physicians, where I managed SEO and web strategy for sites with over 100 million annual visits. I trained 60 staff members on search strategy and led multiple site redesigns and platform migrations.
I left in 2017 to work directly with small businesses. Since then I have helped therapy practices fill their caseloads, restaurants show up in local search, and e-commerce businesses grow their organic revenue.
I started Pride and Prairie because the businesses I care about most were the ones least likely to get good web strategy. A therapist opening a private practice. A restaurant that just signed a lease. A contractor who gets all their work from referrals and wants to know if a website would help.
These businesses deserve the same quality of strategy that large organizations get. Without the six-month timeline or the bloated project scope.

How to Design a Restaurant Website That Works
Your restaurant website is a decision tool. A hungry person on their phone needs the menu, hours, location, and a way to act. Everything else is secondary.
Social Media Is Not Your Website
Social media helps people find you. Your website is where they decide to call, book, or request a quote.
How We Built Photo Management Without Logins
A community softball team needed members to submit photos and admins to approve them. No apps, no accounts, no training. Here is how we built it.
Which Monthly Costs Keep a Small Business Running
Not every recurring cost is waste. Not every subscription earns its place. A practical way to decide what stays, what goes, and what protects the business.
What Works When Word of Mouth Stops
Austin adds thousands of new residents every month. If your small business depends only on referrals, your website is how those new neighbors find you.
30 Minutes. No Pitch.
I will look at your current site and tell you what I would build. If it is a fit, great. If not, you walk away with useful feedback.
